A FUND-RAISING concert organised for Barnsley Hospice will feature a special performance from Tony Christie.
Tickets are now on sale for Picnic in the Park event, organised by Wosskow Brown Solicitors, will be on June 28.
The Conisborough-born singing star, who has sold over 10 million records worldwide, is most famous for a string of hits including The Avenues And Alleyways, I Did What I Did For Mariaand the classic Is This The Way To Amarillo?
Tony Christie said: “Wherever I perform around the world, there is nothing like coming back to South Yorkshire and playing to a home crowd."
Tickets are £15 for adults, £10 for children aged 6-10 and free for children aged five and under. They are available from Wosskow Brown’s Regent Street office, Barnsley Hospice shops and the Hospice itself, and by calling 01226 399826.
