DEARNE firefighters have come to the rescue of a ten-week-old pup who got into a tight spot.
The German Shepherd pup, named Wednesday, got their head stuck in a metal railing in Wombwell.
Fortunately for Wednesday, firefighters from Dearne fire station came to the rescue.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “The stricken pooch was transported to a vet to be sedated, before firefighters used cutting gear to remove the railing.
“Well done to everyone involved!”
