TRAIN services between Barnsley and Sheffield were cancelled for a period of time yesterday after a carriage hit a trolley.
Northern Rail confirmed the cancellation or delay of the services at 5pm due to the trolley blocking the line.
As a moving train had collided with the shopping trolley, the line was closed to prevent danger to rail users.
