A GOLDTHORPE surgery has been rated as ‘good’ by inspectors from the Care Quality Commission.
Lakeside Surgery, based on Goldthorpe Green, was visited by inspectors in February – with the results released to the public last week.
Every sector of the service was rated as ‘good’.
The report states: “Overall, the practice is rated as good and the key question responsive continues to be rated as providing a good service.
“We found that since taking over the practice in 2019, Alliance Primary Care Limited had sought to understand the pressures and challenges in respect of access for patients and were continuing to develop and implement plans to improve.
“The practice organised services to meet patients’ needs, particularly those who were most likely to have difficulty accessing care.
“The practice sought out and used feedback and other data/information to monitor and improve access.”
