A COLLECTION will be made at tomorrow’s Barnsley FC game for a local foodbank.

Reds in the Community have teamed up with Barnsley Foodbank partnership to host the collection at the home match against Middlesbrough.

Following the success of the previous two collections, it’s once again being hosted by the club.

Paul France, Reds in the Community chief executive officer, said: “Perhaps now more than ever, the local community must be united, stay together and look after one another.

“We’ve had a tremendous response to this campaign over the last few months and we sincerely hope that you are in a position to show your generosity and community once more this weekend.”

Urgently needed items include dilute or juice, rice, custard, long-life milk, tinned meat, rice pudding, packet/instant potato, jam, tinned fish, toothpaste, toothbrushes, nappies size six, seven and eight+ and shampoo.
