THE Wombwell-based foodbank have urged people to donate to their Easter appeal.
There are numerous ways to donate listed fully on the Barnsley Foodbank website, including drop-offs to their headquarters at Unit 14, Aldham Industrial Estate, checking out their 'Amazon Wish List', or dropping off at Tesco Stairfoot, Hoyland or Penistone.
Cash donations will also be accepted at their headquarters and cheques can be given.
The charity are also urging schools to donate, and have said they can do so by contacting adminsupport@barnsley.foodbank.org.uk for more information or for collection or delivery times.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Foodbank said: "Our foodbank is run by local people for local people - we rely on the community's support to ensure we can continue providing emergency food parcels to individuals in crisis.
"You can invest in the future of our project this Easter and help us provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community."
