ACCESS arrangements at a forthcoming 46-home estate in Darton have been approved by planning board members.
The scheme, on a field off Darton Lane, already has outline planning permission but a wrangle ensued over vehicular routes.
However, documents revealed the issues have been rectified by joint applicants, Duchy Homes and The Church Commission, following discussions with the council’s planning and highways bosses which saw five entry points agreed on.
Coun Leyla Nayeri, who represents the Darton East ward, raised concerns over refuse vehicles’ access.
She said: “The plans have no visitor parking. If there are visitors parking around the area and blocking paths, refuse vehicles may have to stop on Dalton Lane.”
Permission was granted.
