THE man who taught Michael Jackson how to moonwalk will be sliding into Barnsley today for a special performance at the Soho Social.
Jeffrey Daniel is most famous for his work with the late ‘King of Pop’, but has also had a thriving career separate to the music legend.
Working with R and B group Shalamar, the performer has toured the world, and will now be stopping off in Barnsley town centre today (Sunday) at 3pm.
Owner of Shambles Street’s Soho Social, Dave Clayton, said: “It’s ridiculous we’re getting someone like him to come to Barnsley.
“Everyone keeps thinking it’s a tribute act but it’s real. He’s only ever done this show in Manchester and London, so getting him to Barnsley is great.
“The project’s been in the works since this time last year.”
