A FORMER Barnsley church is set to be put up for auction.

The Smithies Wesleyan Reform Church, on Wakefield Road, has been handed a £375,000 guide price on the Mark Jenkinson and Co website.

The main building dates from 1912 and the rear split-level former Sunday school building was built in 1932.

The auction will end on September 18.
