BARNSLEY are set to face newly-promoted League One side Morecambe later today in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
It’s the Reds third pre-season game so far, winning the previous two 2-1 at Rochdale and 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
The Shrimps have played three games already, winning one and losing two - though their only win was a 5-1 thrashing away at Workington.
The game will be played at Barnsley’s Loughborough University training camp, and kick off is at 2pm.
New head coach Markus Schopp said: “It is important to be close to the guys and make a lot of sessions, show them videos and be in a bubble with them.
“It is an intense week in which we know we will know each other better.”
