THE Dearne Area Council is wanting the opinions of Goldthorpe, Thurnscoe and Bolton-upon-Dearne residents to help shape priorities in a new initiative.
In 2019, a local community consultation was carried out in the Dearne to understand what residents loved about the area and also what they would like to see improved.
The government has launched the Towns Fund initiative which Goldthorpe and the surrounding villages are eligible to access up to £25m of grant funding.
The team are urging residents to fill in the short survey to tailor a plan for the Towns Fund bid that addresses transport, create new jobs, improve skills and regenerate the local community.
The survey runs from August 28 until midnight on September 13.
