A DRINK-DRIVER has been given a 20-month ban and fined £262.

Dritan Quosja, of Copper Close, Barnsley, was stopped by police on Christmas Eve and appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court in relation to the offence this week.

The 37-year-old was driving a Kia Rio on Sheffield Road, Barnsley, and had 64mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, almost twice the legal 35mg limit.

He was also told to pay £85 court costs and a £32 surcharge.
