A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and three counts of fraud.
On Saturday, police were called to reports of an aggravated burglary in Athersley. It was reported that a man had broken into a property, threatening the occupants.
Shane Charlotte, of Greenset View, Barnsley, appeared before Barnsley Magistrates' Court today and has been remanded until his next hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on April 2.
