A BARNSLEY mother accused of killing her baby appeared in court this week.
Hayley Macfarlane, of Carrington Street, is charged with the murder of her five-month-old daughter Evelyn following an incident at Woodhouse Moor Park in Leeds on December 20.
She subsequently appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court last Saturday where she was required to confirm her age and address.
Macfarlane appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, where a plea and trial preparation hearing date was set for January 25 at the same court.
A provisional trial date has been set for May 13.
The 39-year-old was remanded in custody until her next hearing.
