A SMALL piece of ‘paradise’ has been created on Royston High Street thanks to hard-working volunteers.
Over the last 18 months, the Barnsley long-term exercise heart support group have been clearing a disused piece of land and creating a ‘beautiful’ garden area.
To celebrate the opening of the area, the group hosted a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support recently.
They managed to raise just over £500 for the cause.
