PENISTONE Gala is taking place this weekend..
Kicking off tomorrow and lasting until Sunday, and number of events will be taking place in the area.
Miriam Cates, MP for Penistone and Stocksbridge, said: “A musical spectacular will be hosted at Penistone Paramount cinema on the Saturday, followed by the Mayor’s Parade and gala on the Sunday.
“It was great to chat to James Edwards, one of the event organisers, in Penistone recently and hear about some of the fantastic activities the gala will have to offer.
“Everyone is welcome to come along, and I’d like to extend my thanks to the hard working volunteers who I’m sure will make it a weekend to remember.”
