A SERVICE will take place tomorrow commemorating the millions of people bereaved during the pandemic.

The National Day of Reflection will be held at the Covid memorial in the Glass Works public square from 11.55am.

An announcement will be made, followed by a one-minute silence.

A floral tribute will be laid by the Mayor of Barnsley Coun Caroline Makinson - who will also provide a short service, alongside Fr Stephen of St Mary’s Church.
