BARNSLEY FC confirmed that assistant coach Tonda Eckert left the club on Saturday.
Eckert was appointed as an assistant coach under the stewardship of Gerhard Struber in August 2020.
He stayed with the club after Struber left and was a member of the coaching staff under both Valerien Ismael and Markus Schopp.
A Barnsley FC spokesperson added: “The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Tonda for his work over the past 16 months and wish him success for the future.
“Further updates to the coaching team will follow in due course.”
