YOUNG people who aren't in employment or education are being invited to take part in a programme that involves adventure in the Peak District.

The Princes Trust programme is available for people aged between 16 to 25 and involved 12 weeks of adventure, with a residential in the Peak District and classes on teamwork and resilience as well as help with writing your CV and job hunting.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Over the 12 weeks you will achieve four recognised qualifications and gain skills that will set you up for life.

The Barnsley course will begin on September 27.
