NOMINATIONS are now CLOSED for this year’s Proud of Barnsley awards.
That’s it for this year, we have had some truly amazing responses but now the hard work begins.
Everyone who has been nominated deserves to win an award, but unfortunately there can only be one winner per category.
Our team behind the scenes will whittle our list of nominees down to our finalists which will then be given to our independent panel of judges who get to decide who the winner of each category is.
It’s an unenviable job, but someone has to do it.
For now, we would like to thank everyone who sent in a nomination – it has really brightened our days reading about all the wonderful things you’ve been up to over the past two years.
From foodbanks to fundraisers, we have seen the best of the best, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for all our nominees.
We will release the shortlist in the coming weeks ahead of the judging before the main event in November.
