POLICE have uncovered a cannabis set-up following information from the community.
Officers from the Barnsley South East NPT attended an address in Goldthorpe yesterday after receiving community intelligence that a property was concerned in drug production.
They found a cannabis set-up. The electricity had been tampered with and posed a risk to neighbouring properties and needed to be made safe.
The set-up was safely dismantled, the plants were seized and enquiries are on-going.
