A NUMBER of vaccine drop-in clinics are set to be held over the next few weeks.
It was announced earlier this week that 16 and 17 year olds will now also be able to get their Pfizer vaccine at the town’s walk-in clinics.
Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the clinic will be open at Priory Campus in Lundwood, from 9am to 7pm, for people 16 and over who want their first dose of Pfizer, and for those who want their second dose of either Pfizer or AstraZeneca.
There will also be a dedicated drop in clinic at Apollo Court Medical Centre in Dodworth on Saturday and Sunday - August 21 and 22 - from 9am to 5pm on the Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on the Sunday.
This is only for residents aged 16 to 19 who want their first dose.
