ANYONE without coronavirus symptoms can sign up to a scheme to help identify asymptomatic carriers of the virus.
Taking a rapid test twice-a-week can help keep you and your family safe by picking up on any symptoms of the virus quickly. It can also help to identify asymptomatic patients who may not know they carry the virus.
The lateral flow tests take 30 minutes and can be done at home.
You can get lateral flow tests through a workplace testing programme, at a pharmacy, or by ordering the test kits online.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “By taking up rapid testing, you will be helping us to stop the spread of the virus and know you're doing all you can to protect your family, friends and communities.”
