A 38-year-old man was arrested in Kingstone on Monday after almost £10,000 of drugs was found at a property.
A warrant was executed by the Barnsley West Neighbourhood Policing Team on Rebecca Row where a large amount of class A and B drugs worth between £5,000 and £10,000, stolen jewellery and power tools were found.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of drugs with the intent to supply.
“He has been released on police bail while enquires continue.”
