ANOTHER vaccine drop-in clinic will be open in Dodworth on Saturday for residents aged 25-40 who want their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

The clinic is based at the Apollo Court Medical Centre, on High Street, and is open from 10am until 2.30pm.

Parking is limited and it’s likely that you will be queuing at busier times throughout the day.

A spokesperson for Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group said: “The team’s top tips for getting the most out of your visit - dress for the weather as you may be queuing outside, it’s a good idea to have something to eat and drink before coming for your vaccine, and once you’ve had your vaccine you’ll be waiting for 15 minutes afterwards.

“There will be volunteers and clinicians outside the vaccine centre to show you where to go and answer any questions you have.

“If you already have a booked appointment this weekend, please attend that one.”

People are urged to not call the Apollo Court Medical Centre with any questions, and to instead message the CCG’s social media channels.
