A SURVEY has been created to help police target areas residents feel unsafe in.
The Personal Safety Survey will allow residents to have their say about how safe they feel in their local area – which could help increase police presence there.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “We want South Yorkshire to be and feel like a safe place to live. We will use the results of this survey to work with the Police and Crime Commissioner and partners to tackle any safety concerns.
“In particular, we want women to feel confident to seek help and support if they need to.
“The survey should take around ten minutes to complete and all information that you provide is strictly confidential.
“We do ask you to provide your postcode to identify your Neighbourhood Policing Team so targeted local actions can be taken, this will not be used to identify you.”
