PEOPLE aged 36-and-above are now eligible to receive doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

The announcement was made as cases of the Indian variant of the virus continue to rise.

Last week, anyone aged 38 and above was eligible for the vaccine and now that age has been lowered further to 36 and 37-year-olds.

You are also eligible if you turn 36 before July 1.
