AS roadworks continue to be carried out across the borough, we have put together a small guide so you don't get caught out in traffic...
Thurnscoe High Street will be closed from Landsdown Close to outside house 81 from April 12, for approximately five days. The road will be closed while a new gas service is installed.
A temporary speed limit of 40mph will be introduced on Finkle Street Lane, Wortley for approximately four weeks. The speed restrictions will be in place from tomorrow (April 7) while drainage works are carried out.
Two roads in Mapplewell will be closed for approximately four weeks while the road is resurfaced. Butterton Close and Windhill Avenue will both be closed from April 12.
Farmhouse Lane, Pogmoor will also be closed while the carriageway is resurfaced. As with the road in Mapplewell, Farmhouse Lane will be closed from April 12 for approximately four weeks.
