POLICE in Barnsley are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen during a burglary in Penistone.

At around midnight on December 11, it is reported that offenders broke into several outbuildings at a farm in Crow Edge - stealing items such as a Honda 420 quad bike.

It is believed that the offenders then fled towards the Cortonwood and Bolton-upon-Dearne areas.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Police are now appealing for information that may help reunite the quad bike with its rightful owners.

“Have you seen a quad bike in the area matching the description?

“Do you know who might be responsible?

“If you can help, please call 101 quoting incident number 67 of December 11, 2020.”
