BARNSLEY College won two awards for their work towards sustainability and within the local community.

The college won the AoC Beacon Award standard in the two award categories: the Edge Award for Excellence in Real World Learning and the Careers and Enterprise Company Award for Innovation in Careers and Enterprise award.

The awards are given by the Association of College and help to celebrate the impact of colleges on local communities.

The college won the awards for its work to deliver a broad curriculum, careers advice and towards relationships between students and employers.
