MINOR disruption is expected at the hospital as building works will be carried out.
Tomorrow (October 3) building works will take place which will cause disruption to patients who wish to access the maternity services entrance.
Car park one and the footpath from Pogmoor Road will be closed while the work is carried out.
A spokesperson from Barnsley Hospital said: “Patients and visitors will be directed by staff on site that will be posted in key areas to access appropriate entrances – there may be some alternative paths for visitors so please follow direction signs.”
The closure of the car park will be expected to last from 7.30am until 11.30am.
