A LANE will be closed in the town centre today following a collapsed manhole cover.
The lane on A628 Westway between Morrisons and Townend roundabout will be closed throughout the day whilst emergency work is carried out.
Barnsley Council engineers are on site assessing the damage and carrying out repairs.
Be prepared for build up and find alternate routes if possible.
