A 22-YEAR-OLD woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after an incident in Royston in the early hours of the morning.

At 4.15am today (August 24) police were called after a car had driven at speed over a roundabout and had collided with a parked car and into the front of a house on Lee Lane.

Damage was caused to the parked vehicle but the occupant of the house was not injured.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Officers attended and the suspect was located near to the property, she was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

“A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
