BECOME a 'rusher' this May and raise money for charity by participating in a bubble rush.

Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice have partnered with Extreme Adventures for a bubbe rush at Rother Valley Country Park on May 11.

Rushers start in a sea of foam, before passing through four different coloured bubble stations around the course, where high powered foam cannons create a 4ft bubble bath to make sure people get completely covered in coloured foam.

Entrants can run, walk, jog or even dance through the bubbles and it’s suitable for all ages, abilities and the course is pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

Helen Mower, Head of Fundraising, Bluebell Wood, said: “This fun event has been run by Extreme Adventures across the country, but this is the first time it’s come to Sheffield. We’re delighted to have been chosen as their official charity partner, and this will be one of our major events this year.

"We’re hoping it will attract supporters old and new to try something fun and different. By signing up for the Bubble Rush, and getting sponsorship for the event, you’re helping children in this area with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We’re hoping this event will be a sell out, so we’re urging anyone who’d like to take part to sign up as soon as possible.”
