A TALENTED dance group from Horizon have been selected to perform at the nation’s largest youth dance festival this weekend.
The youth dance company from Horizon Community College, Barnsley, will perform their successful dance piece at the nation’s largest national youth dance festival, U.Dance in Ipswich.
They were selected to take part out of 290 entrants nationwide through a series of 20 regional heats and will represent Yorkshire on Saturday.
The group comprises of a collaboration between dancers from Horizon Community College’s main dance companies, Streetkingz and Fusion.
The group rehearses at Horizon Community College in Barnsley and all of its members attend the school. They will be performing a piece entitled The Cult.
