A NEW play by the Trinity Players is reaching for the stars.
Fly Me To The Moon is a new comedy looking at people’s fear of flying and is set to take-off on April 24.
It is one of 70-plus plays penned by John Godber, a former drama student at Bretton Hall College now recognised as the third most-performed UK playwright after William Shakespeare and Alan Ayckbourn.
Director Helen Watson said: “John Godber is a master of observational comedy and I understand this play stems from personal experience gained when his wife booked him onto a similar course at East Midlands Airport.
“It looks at our neuroses which can be amusing and entertaining when combined with the stress of meeting and speaking with strangers in public.”
