ZUMBA instructors are planning to get locals fit while raising funds for support dogs with a new event.
Instructors Anita Grant, Libbi Cooper, Lucy McMaster and Kayla Kavanagh are holding a two-hour-long charity Zumbathon at The Venue in Birdwell tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm.
The epic session, which will see participants get involved in the high tempo dancing exercise, will be followed with a raffle as the instructors raise funds for Sheffield-based charities Support Dogs and Weston Park Cancer Charity.
Anita said: “It’s such a worthy cause which helps so many people to live a better quality of life, and with the help of dogs.
“Each instructor is doing this without payment, and the venue is allowing its use for free, so every single penny raised is going to Support Dogs and Weston Park Cancer Charity.”
