COMEDIAN and Strictly Come Dancing winner Bill Bailey will headline Barnsley’s Underneath The Stars festival this summer.
It’ll be the tenth celebration of the festival, which is held at Cinderhill Farm in Cawthorne, and will take place from August 2 to August 4.
Local folk legend Kate Rusby, Barnsley Youth Choir and former X Factor star Lucy Spraggan will all be performing on stage, too. More artists are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Festival director Emma Holling said: “I can’t believe that a humble fundraiser for the local cricket club has resulted in the much loved and award winning Underneath the Stars festival.
“We wouldn’t be here without the dedication of so many volunteers and the support of such talented artists. Come celebrate ten years with us it’s going to be amazing.”
