A WOMAN has raised £825 to help those living with endometriosis.
Lyndsay McDermott, 36, from Monk Bretton, took part in a ten-mile walk last Saturday to raise funds for Endometriosis UK.
She was joined by her parents, partner and close friends, who helped her fundraising effort for the charity that supports those suffering with the condition which can cause chronic pain, fatigue, depression and complications with conceiving.
Lyndsay – who suffers with endometriosis – said: “The walk went very well, even though it rained heavily It ended up being a 14.6-mile walk rather than a ten-mile walk with the route we took.
“It feels amazing to have raised £825 – the generosity and support has been amazing. I just want to thank everyone who donated and a huge thanks to the people that joined me on the day.”
