A PROPERTY which was identified as the source of antisocial behaviour has been issued with a closure order.
The measure – which was granted by Barnsley Magistrates’ Court having been sought by both the police and council – relates to a house on Horsewood Close, Dodworth.
Now it’s in place, groups of people who used to attend are banned from doing so, with only the tenant allowed to be present.
A police report said: “This prevents anyone from being in the property apart from the occupier, and if anyone is found in the property they and the occupier can be arrested or reported on summons.”
