Bin collections
There are a number of changes to bin collections over the festive period.
If your bin would normally be due for collection on Boxing Day, the council will empty it on Saturday, December 30 instead.
Commercial and business waste collections will be completed a day later than usual between Tuesday and December 30.
All other bin collection dates over the festive period are unchanged.
All of the town’s household waste recycling centres will remain open apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
