A BARNSLEY singer performed as the special guest of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn recently.
Delilah Bon, the alter ego of Hands Off Gretel star Lauren Tate, performed at The Leadmill in Sheffield on Saturday, August 19.
It was part of Corbyn’s Music For The Many campaign to protect grassroots and independent music venues in the UK.
Delilah was chosen, alongside another artist Zand, to take part in the special performance.
A large number of locals turned up to show their support, as Delilah performed on the stage before Corbyn spoke about the campaign.
He said: “Thank you to Zand and Delilah Bon for the amazing performances at the Music For The Many show at The Leadmill in Sheffield.
“We must fight for the future of grassroots music venues.
