If your name is Charles, you can nab yourself a free hot drink at a Barnsley coffee shop over the coronation weekend.
Independent coffee roaster 200 Degrees in the Glassworks is bestowing this honour on anyone called Charles from next Saturday (May 6) until Monday (May 8).
Particularly regal members of the furry four-legged community will also be getting the royal treatment, with free puppucinos for any corgis.
Anyone named Charles can visit a 200 Degrees coffee shop with proof of ID to receive a free hot drink of their choice. No ID will be necessary for corgis; a cute fluffy butt will be proof enough for 200 Degrees staff to issue the free tasty treats.
Stephen Fern, managing director at 200 Degrees, said: “With the coronation just around the corner, we’re doubling down on some very British silliness with this special offer.
“We hope all our customers are made to feel like royalty in our shops over the course of the weekend, and that people named Charles and any corgi enjoy their free treats, courtesy of 200 Degrees.”
