A LOCAL pub gave thanks to the community for helping them fund a defibrillator which got put to use over the Christmas period.
The Full House pub, on Rotherham Road in Monk Bretton, held a fundraising night in February last year to raise funds for the piece of life saving equipment.
The defib is situated on the side of the pub so that it’s easily accessible for Monk Bretton locals, should there ever be an emergency.
Landlady, Bridie Mayock, said: “We would like to let everyone know that over the festive period our defibrillator was used within the community.
“We would like to thank everyone who donated to help make this possible, we could not have done it without you.”
