A COMMUNITY defibrillator has been installed outside a local community centre.

The defibrillator is now outside Gawber Community Center and will protect residents in an emergency.

A defibrillator was installed in Pogmoor in the autumn so this will be the second defibrillator in the area - should there be a risk to life.

On Saturday, January 14, a member of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity will visit Gawber's community centre to talk to locals and spread awareness of how to use the device.
