Police issue warning to residents

A WARNING was issued to residents by police on Tuesday after multiple vehicles were found with items on display.

Patrols were carried out by officers from Barnsley North Neighbourhood Policing Team around Old Town ward as part of the Vulnerable Vehicle Scheme.

A spokesperson from the team said: “Thirteen vehicles were found with items on display. Please don’t leave your vehicle vulnerable, be sure to remove all items out of sight.”
