SEVEN Barnsley residents have died within 28 days of receiving a positive Covid result so far in May.
A total of 1,127 people across the town have died in the time frame - seven of which have occurred this month.
Barnsley’s Covid death rate is still the worst in the country, with a rate of 454.3 per 100,000 residents.
