CATERING and hospitality students at Barnsley College heard from a range of guest speakers - including an interactive session with a local business owner.
The talks gave students chance to explore potential careers within the sector and were part of Catering and Hospitality Industry Week.
A 'gripping' interactive session with Richard Punshon, the owner of the Dog and Partridge restaurant and accomodation at Flouch, was inlcuded in the week of activities.
During his workshop students created venison salami and chorizo whilst discussing his career at The Savoy Hotel in London, and the Army.
Richard said: “I'm here to show students how easy it is to make fresh produce yourself, rather than products that are mass produced.
"My piece of advice to students is to keep your passion for the industry.
"It was a pleasure to talk to the Catering and Hospitality students at Barnsley College.”
