MORE than half a million Covid vaccines have been administered in Barnsley since the start of the programme’s rollout.
The majority of these vaccinations have been first dose - 188,193 or 85.1 per cent of Barnsley’s eligible residents.
More than 80 per cent of residents have had their second dose of the vaccine, 177,941.
Almost 137,000 residents across the borough have also had their booster jab.
