BARNSLEY’S speedboat Santa Claus will make his final rounds of the festive period this afternoon.
The big man in red - also known as Ash Jackson, of Monk Bretton - will set off from Burton Road, near West Green Avenue, at 4pm today.
Ash and helper Nicky Morrall will head on to Shafton through Cudworth, turning on to High Street, Dog Hill, Shafton Green, Hawthorne Street, and Poplar Avenue.
The pair will return through Cudworth, calling at Weetshaw Lane, King’s Road, Sidcop Road, Snydale Road, Darfield Road, the Crown Estate, back to Darfield Road, Newland Avenue, then St John’s Road before returning to Monk Bretton.
